The ingredients needed to make Chow Mein:
  1. Take Prep time 25 mints
  2. Take Cook time 15 mints
  3. Make ready Total time 40 mints
  4. Take 1 packet noodles
  5. Get 1 medium carrot cut into julian
  6. Take 1 red capsicum cut into julian
  7. Make ready 1 green capsicum
  8. Take 1 medium onion cut length wise
  9. Get 1 tbsp minced garlic
  10. Get 1/2 cup oil
  11. Prepare Chicken Marination:
  12. Make ready 1/2 kg chicken cut into long strips
  13. Prepare 1/2 tbsp light soy sauce
  14. Get 1/2 tbsp dark soy sauce
  15. Prepare 1/4 tsp corn flour
  16. Get 1/4 tsp sugar
  17. Make ready For Sauce:
  18. Prepare 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  19. Get 1 tbsp light soy sauce
  20. Make ready 1 tbsp chilli garlic sauce
  21. Take 1/2 tbsp oyster sauce
  22. Make ready 1 tsp sesame oil
  23. Get 1 tsp red chilli flakes
Steps to make Chow Mein:
  1. Cut and prepare all ingredients. Marinate the chicken and keep aside.
  2. Boil your noodles al-dente (firm to bite) and keep aside. Mix the ingredients for the sauce and keep aside.
  3. Heat a large pan on high and add oil. Saute veggies and take out so they do not lose crunch and colour. In the same pan quickly saute the chicken and take out as it changes colour. Do not over cook it. Now add minced garlic and stir till fragrant, add in the veggies, chicken, and boiled noodles along with the sauce prepared earlier. Toss and mix well until combined thoroughly.
  4. Turn of the flame and serve hot. Enjoy a happy meal!
