  1. Make ready 600-800 g Chicken Thigh Fillets *OR Breast Fillets
  2. Get Salt & White Pepper
  3. Take 2-3 tablespoons Plain Flour
  4. Prepare 2 tablespoons Oil *for frying pan method
  5. Make ready Toasted Sesame Seeds
  6. Get Sauce
  7. Get 1 clove Garlic *grated
  8. Take 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  9. Prepare 2 tablespoons Mirin
  10. Make ready 2 tablespoons Gochujang (Korean Spicy Miso)
  11. Make ready 2 tablespoons Ketchup
  12. Prepare 1 teaspoon Sugar
Steps to make Gochujang Chicken:
  1. Combine all the Sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Alter the amount to suit your taste.
  2. Lightly season Chicken Fillets with Salt & White Pepper. Coat them with Plain Flour.
  3. Frying Pan Method: Heat Oil in a large frying pan over medium heat and cook Chicken Fillets until both sides are nicely browned and cooked though. Transfer to a plate and remove the excess oil in the pan using paper towel.
  4. Pour the Sauce in the pan and heat over medium low heat until it bubbles. Return the Chicken and coat with the thickening sauce. Sprinkle with some Toasted Sesame Seeds and serve.
  5. Oven Baking Method: Preheat the oven to 220℃. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Place the Chicken Fillets on the prepared tray and bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until nicely browned.
  6. Coat the baked Chicken with the sauce, sprinkle with some Toasted Sesame Seeds, then place them back on the tray. Replace the baking paper if required. And bake for 10 to 15 more minutes.
  7. Ready to serve and ENJOY!
