The ingredients needed to make Korean Style Chinese Noodles:
  1. Prepare 1/4-1/2 pound ground meat
  2. Make ready 1-2 cups chicken broth
  3. Make ready 2 cloves garlic
  4. Prepare 1 Tbl. Fresh ginger
  5. Get 1/2 tsp. Sugar
  6. Prepare 3 Tbl. Soy sauce
  7. Make ready 3 stalks scallion (green onion)
  8. Make ready 1 Tbl. Gochujang (or hot sauce)
  9. Prepare 1 ground black pepper (to taste)
  10. Prepare 4 Oz. Noodles (glass noodles are the best, but any work)
Instructions to make Korean Style Chinese Noodles:
  1. Soak noodles in water (room temp) until soft. I’m using rice noodles, they take about 30 minutes.
  2. Add some oil to a wok/stir-fry/skillet and heat on medium
  3. Dice your garlic and ginger, add to hot oil, stir for 1 minute
  4. I’m using Gochujang, this now is available in the Asian section of our regular grocery stores.
  5. Add your Gochujang or hot sauce, stir for 1 minute
  6. Add meat, break it up
  7. When the meat is just cooked
  8. Add home made chicken broth 😉 2 cups little soupy, 1 cup more dry. I used 2 cups here.
  9. Add sugar, soy sauce, black pepper, turn heat up to medium-high, Bring to a boil
  10. Add soft noodles and scallions
  11. Stir and continue to boil for 2 or 3 minutes until noodles are cooked.
  12. Serve. Garnish with sesame seeds, scallions, cilantro.
  13. Ready to serve and ENJOY!
