  2. Prepare 400 g Raw Prawn (shelled, deveined)

  10. Take Dipping/Drizzle Sauce
  11. Make ready 0.5 Cup Light Soy Sauce
  12. Prepare 0.5 Cup Chinese Black Vinegar
  13. Prepare 1/4 Red onion - finely chopped
  14. Make ready 3 tsp sugar
  15. Make ready 2 Tbsp Sweet chili sauce
  16. Prepare 1 Tbsp Chili Oil
  17. Prepare 1 tsp Garlic paste
  18. Get Topping
  19. Make ready Finely chopped green onion
  20. Take Crispy fried onion bits
Steps to make Chicken & Prawn Dumplings:
  1. Chop the prawns to a rough ground consistency
  2. In a bowl, add the Chicken, prawn, coriander, spring onion, finely chopped water chestnuts, garlic, ginger and salt, white pepper, mix well until the mixture becomes sticky
  3. Using the storebought wrappers spoon a teaspoon amount in the middle, wetting the corners and folding in half to seal. Play with pleating and different shapes
  4. Add the raw dumplings in a freezer bag and keep in the freezer until ready to cook
  5. Mix the dipping/drizzle sauce ingredients together and keep to the side
  6. To cook the dumplings you can either boil, steam or shallow fry. I choose to shallow fry to add a golden color, in a non stick pan add some olive oil and fry the dumplings in a single layer until golden, add a splash of water and cover the pan to allow the dumplings to steam.
  7. Layer the dumplings on a plate, drizzle with the sauce and top with finely chopped green onion and crispy onion. ENJOY! 🤤
