The ingredients needed to make Chop Suey:
  1. Take 1 lb Pork (or chicken)
  2. Prepare 2 tbsp Oil
  3. Prepare 3 cup Celery
  4. Make ready 1 packages Bean sprouts
  5. Take 1 cup Onion
  6. Get 3 tbsp Cornstarch
  7. Make ready 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  8. Prepare 1/4 cup Cold water (for cornstarch)
  9. Take 1 can Chicken broth (10.5 oz)
  10. Prepare 1/4 cup Water (for bullion cubes)
  11. Prepare 1 1/2 Chicken bullion cubes
  12. Take 1 packages Mushrooms
Instructions to make Chop Suey:
  1. Cook pork strips in 1 Tbl oil and remove pork from pan
  2. Add remaining 1 Tbl oil to pan and cook onion, celery, mushrooms, and sprouts to desired tenderness. Drain excess liquid.
  3. For sauce: A. In a sauce pan, combine water, bullion cubes, and chicken broth. B. in a separate bowl, combine cold water and cornstarch C. Stir and Heat until boiling and sauce changes to a uniform brown color
  4. Return pork to pan an cover with sauce. Simmer for 2 minutes
  5. Ready to serve and ENJOY!
